The Center for the Support of Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) of Chania has a double goal:

• to implement activities in order to raise public awareness, to inform the people as well as prospective social entrepreneurs who are interested in learning more about Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE)
• to provide support and counseling services to existing SSE ventures and/or to groups of people who are interested in the establishment of SSE

Indicatively, the services include:

(a) Introduction to the Social and Solidarity economy (SSE), (b) Institutional and Regulatory Framework of SS, (c) Advantages / Obligations of SSE ventures, (d) Funding resources, (e) Information on the current procedures for establishing an SSE venture, (f) Networking with other ventures of the SSE ecosystem (suppliers, customers, other SSE ventures), (g) Support on the composition of business plan, (h) Support on the composition of Marketing plan.

The Center for the Support of SSE is located at 46 Tsouderon Street, Chania (accessibility for disabled).

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
